About me

I've spent most of my career in enterprise software — manufacturing and retail, specifically. I started as an application consultant and project leader, then moved into R&D where I worked as business analyst, product owner, and product manager. Enough years to understand how large organizations actually adopt technology, and how far the gap can be between a good idea and a working product.

More recently I went deep on artificial intelligence — not the hype side, but the engineering side: what it takes to build solutions that are reliable, measurable, and worth deploying. That led me to work on high-impact applications that combine AI with open data. Some of these projects involve digital maps, which turned out to be a surprisingly good domain for this kind of work.

I care about systems that do one thing well, software that stays simple as it grows, and products that solve real problems without overcomplicating themselves. I bring the product side and the engineering side to the same table — I've sat on both.

This site is where I publish projects and notes on what I'm learning and building. If you're working on something where AI, open data, or solid product thinking could help, I'm open to collaborating — get in touch.
